I recently purchased a 2007 F-250, and have noticed that when leaving from a stop, there is a noticeable puff of white/blue smoke. The issue seems to be more noticeable when the truck is cold, but fairly consistant. I don't notice it under normal driving, but mainly from a stop. If it spews oil out the exhaust on acceleration it is more than likely the rings.
